Museum of History in Granite

Add to plan Remove from plan
Granite walls built for millennia. "Unique and unforgettable" says AAA. This is a candidate as a World Heritage Site.A truly unique attraction, this ambitious outdoor museum aims to capture the whole history of mankind on artfully etched granite panels.  There’s also a pyramid that marks the designated “Center of the World,” a French-style chapel, a staircase from the Eiffel Tower, and a bistro and gift shop. Admission charge; open Thanksgiving through March, self-guided tours in the offseason on the “honor system.” Take I-8 west to Sidewinder Road (exit 164), then west on Center of the World Drive.
